Two Women Arrested During Burglary in Progress Call

Camdenton, MO, 01-18-23 - Tuesday afternoon, 01-17-23, Camden County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Marshall Road in Stoutland for a reported burglary in progress.  A concerned citizen advised the Community Resource Officer assigned to the Stoutland area they saw several vehicles parked at a residence the citizen knew to be unoccupied by the owner.

 

Deputies arrived on scene and discovered 22-year-old Ashley M Blackburn, of Camdenton, and 27-year-old Amber L Juergens, of Richland, inside the residence where they were ripping the copper wiring from inside the walls.  Blackburn and Juergens claimed to have permission from the property owner to collect scrap metal from the residence to sell.  Deputies contacted the property owner who refuted their claims.  

 

Blackburn and Juergens were arrested and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.  They are both charged with is charged with the Class D Felony of Burglary in the 2nd Degree and are being held on $5,000 surety bonds.  

A reminder that these charges are merely allegations of wrongdoing. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
