Camdenton, MO - 11-06-23 - Friday evening, 11-03-23, a deputy patrolling Horseshoe Bend observed a motorcycle travelling in the area of Horseshoe Bend Parkway and Campground Road committing several traffic violations.
The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the motorcycle at HH and Bagnell Dam and identified the driver as 31-year-old Casey T Foster, of Eldon.
During his investigation the deputy observed Foster to be exhibiting signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Foster's behavior was suspicious and as the deputy patted him down for weapons, he discovered a bulge in Foster's pocket. When asked, Foster admitted the bulge was cocaine. Foster was ultimately found to be in possession of 12.5 grams of cocaine separated in a form commonly used in distribution, 61.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, ten psilocybin chocolate bars with a total weight of 480 grams, and five THC vape pens.
Foster was arrested and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and is charged with the Class C Felony of 2nd Degree Drug Trafficking and the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Foster later posted a $50,000 bond and will appear before the court in December.
A reminder that these charges are merely allegations of wrongdoing. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
