On August 11, 2012, authorities from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office were called to Lake Regional Hospital for a reported sexual assault.

A member of the Camden County Detective Bureau contacted a seventeen year old female victim who reported waking up during a sleepover at a friend’s house, located in the 600 block of State Highway 73 Macks Creek, Missouri, to a nineteen year old male having sexual intercourse with her without consent.

The nineteen year old male suspect was picked up for questioning and during his interview admitted to sexually assaulting the seventeen year old victim while she slept.

Arrest: Harris, Steven C 19 year old white male from Macks Creek, Missouri

Charges: Class C Felony of Sexual Assault bond set at $25,000 cash and $150,000 surety.

Harris is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.
