A problem has been discovered with the 9-1-1 database of Charter Communications’ telephone customers.

 

Camden County and Charter Communications are currently in the process of verifying customers’ telephone information in the 9-1-1 database of Charter Communications for those customers in Camden County.  It has been found that some customers’ location information is incorrect and would provide a wrong location if they should have an emergency and call 9-1-1.  This has the potential to cause a delay in response during an emergency. 

Camden County is asking that all Charter Communications’ telephone customers located in Camden County to contact the Camden County Mapping & Addressing office to verify your location information.  The telephone number for Mapping and Addressing is 573-346-4440  Extension: 3194.
