Stolen Vehicle (Stoutland)

On October 8, 2012 at 7:44 AM Camden County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 6000 block of State Highway T, Stoutland in reference to a stolen vehicle.

Victim advised that his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup had been taken from his property between the hours of 7:30 PM October 7, 2012 and 7:30 AM October 8, 2012.

Vehicle information was obtained by the deputy on scene and entered into the MULES and NCIC as stolen.

On October 8, 2012 at 3:25 PM Camden County was advised by Richland Police that they had located the stolen vehicle in the 800 block of Sycamore Drive within Richland City limits.

Camden County Sheriff’s Deputy and Richland Police interviewed subjects at a home in the 800 block of Sycamore Drive. After interviewing multiple subjects a suspect in the theft was developed.

Charles P. Reyes 32 (no known address) was apprehended and charged with a Class C Felony of tampering with a motor vehicle 1st degree and two counts: Class C Felony of stealing. Reyes is currently being held at the Camden County Adult Detention Facility on $7,500.00 cash and $20,000 surety bond.
