Clyde L. Burns 51 of Loose Creek Missouri was taken into custody on September 4, 2011 on Missouri Highway 7 near the State Route EE intersection.

Burns has been charged with 1^st Degree Assault a Class (A) Felony bond has been set at $25,000 cash and $100,000 surety. He is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.

Burns arrest comes as a result of an assault with a vehicle. Burns was attempting to flee the scene of an incident, in the 200 Block of Breezy Point Drive. A male subject attempted to stop Burns and was struck by the fleeing vehicle.  Burns was taken into custody without incident by deputies. The victim was transported to Lake Regional for his injuries.
