On August 31, 2013 at approximately 5:06 am Camden County Authorities were called to the 100 block of Bristol Bay Court Lake Ozark.

Upon arrival, Deputies located the victim sitting on a curb with blood on his face. The victim said he was sleeping at a friend’s home when he awoke to someone punching him in the face. The victim identified the suspect as his friend’s roommate, Shawn Lee Rush. The victim was able to escape from the suspect and called authorities.

Shawn Lee Rush, a 38 year old white male of Lake Ozark, was taken into custody and charged with a Class C Felony of assault 2^nd degree. Rush was released from the Camden County Adult Detention Facility after posting a $1,000.00 cash bond.
