On Thursday, September 26, 2013, detectives from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1200 block of Sunset Shores Drive in Climax Springs regarding two deceased persons.  

Detectives identified the victims as 57 year old William J Goodack Jr, and his wife, 65 year old Linda K Goodack.  Mr. and Mrs. Goodack each sustained a single gunshot wound to the head. Based on evidence found at the scene, the deaths are believed to be a murder/suicide.

The bodies were transported to Springfield, Missouri for autopsy, which is standard procedure in any homicide case.  The next of kin was notified and funeral arrangements are pending
