Eddie's Fin Feather and Fur (Montreal)

During the early morning of March 1, 2011 a deputy performed a business check at Eddie’s Fin, Feather, and Fur in Montreal Missouri. He discovered a door broken off its hinges, he enter the business found evidence of a burglary. The caretaker of the business was contacted and it was discovered that 10 handguns had been stolen.

The information on the weapons was sent out to Law Enforcement Agencies statewide.

During the evening of March 1, 2011 a deputy from Benton County stopped a vehicle for speeding, the driver was found to be suspended. While inventorying the vehicle the deputy discovered evidence of the burglary from Eddie’s Fin Feather and Fur. Benton County Officials contacted the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and informed them of the information.

During the early morning hours of March 2, 2011 deputies from Camden County located another suspect involved during a traffic stop on south Business 5.

Both suspects are currently in custody at the Camden County Adult Detention Facility pending formal charges.
