The evening of March 7, 2014 Camden County Street Crimes Unit assisted a motorist on Camden Line Road near Decaturville.

While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, the deputy’s suspicions were aroused. The deputy requested permission to search the vehicle. Consent was denied and a K-9 unit was called to the scene. The K-9 unit alerted on the vehicle, and a search of the vehicle was then conducted locating methamphetamine and packaging materials.

Gregory Everett Beaston 36 of Osage Beach has been charged with a Class C Felony of possession of a controlled substance. Beaston is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility on a no bond warrant.

Shannon Marie Zaretz 17 of Eldridge has been charged with a Class C Felony of possession of a controlled substance, and a Class C Felony of possession of a controlled substance at a county jail except with a written prescription. Zaretz is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility on a no bond warrant.
