The Camden County Street Crimes Unit and Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group conducted a narcotics search warrant in the 600 block of Oval Road. During the investigation, Marie Ducharme 26 of Climax Springs, attempted to flee on foot and after a short pursuit, was taken into custody. Lance Long 46 of Climax Springs was also taken into custody at the scene. Both subject were transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and are currently being held on the following charges:

 Ducharme: Class B Felony of distribute/deliver/manufacture/produce a controlled substance. Bond set at $1,500.00 cash or $15,000.00 surety.

 Long: is being held on a probation violation warrant no bond allowed.
