Representative Diane Franklin Ride-Along

On Saturday, 08-29-15, State Representative Diane Franklin rode along with one of our deputies for patrol duty on night shift. Mrs. Franklin went to a dozen or more calls for service including domestic violence calls, intoxicated subjects and disturbance calls. Mrs. Franklin’s ride-along gave her a better understanding of what our deputies do on a daily basis and the challenges they face as law enforcement officers.

The ride-along program is open to anyone sixteen years of age or older. Applicants are subject to a background check and must sign a waiver of liability prior to riding with a deputy.

Anyone interested in attending a ride-along with one of our deputies can pick up an application at the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.
