Four From Louisiana Charged in Drug Trafficking Ring

On 12/31/2015 at approximately 5:00 pm, Camden County deputies, members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group and officers from the Osage Beach Police Department stopped a vehicle in the 5900 block of Osage Beach Parkway in Osage Beach. Authorities made the vehicle stop as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

 

As a result of the stop and subsequent investigation, authorities recovered more than two pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of approximately $35,000.00, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several firearms.

 

Arrested at the scene were 27 year old Philip D Pennington of Greenwood, Louisiana; 27 year old Sir M Ford of Greenwood, Louisiana; 26 year old Kenneth H Hudson of Bossier City, Louisiana and 22 year old Naomi Sepulvado of Shreveport, Louisiana. All four were transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility.

 

Pennington, Ford and Hudson are all charged with the Class A Felony of Trafficking in Drugs and are each being held on $200,000 surety bond. Sepulvado is charged with two counts of the Class C Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Class A Misdemeanor of Possession of Marijuana and the Class A Misdemeanor of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia and is being held on $50,000 surety bond.

 

All four will appear before the Camden County Court on February 2nd, 2016.
