Update – Second Arrest in Last Week’s Methamphetamine Bust

A second arrest has been made in connection with a methamphetamine bust made by Camden County deputies last week. On 01/15/2015 at approximately 8:00 pm, deputies from this department responded to a domestic disturbance in the 5000 block of Old Route Five north of Camdenton.  

 

During their investigation, deputies discovered methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia including twenty small baggies commonly used to distribute methamphetamine.

 

Arrested at the scene was 35 year old Harold Ray Townsend, of Camdenton. Townsend was transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and is charged with the Class C Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and the Class A Misdemeanor of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

Further investigation revealed another suspect who has been arrested in connection with the methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia recovered at the scene on Old Route Five. Thirty-eight year old Steven Edward Beeler, also of Camdenton, was arrested on January 20th and booked into the Camden County Adult Detention Facility. Beeler is charged with the Class C Felony of Possession of Controlled Substance and the Class A Misdemeanor of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia. He is being held on a $3000.00 cash bond and will appear before the court on February 2nd.
