Barricaded Subject in Custody After Several Hour Standoff

04/08/2016

At approximately 6:45 am today, Camden County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1900 block of Happy Hollow Road in Osage Beach on a reported domestic assault. Upon arrival, deputies found the victim had escaped from the residence and the suspect was still inside. The victim complained of and had several apparent injuries consistent with being assaulted and choked. She identified the suspect as Travis Dale, a subject our department had a stand-off with in February.

The victim was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of her injuries and evaluation. Deputies made several attempts over the next six hours to contact Dale inside the residence, but he refused to speak with deputies or come out of the house.

Troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to assist, but prior to us actually making entry into the home, Dale exited and surrendered at approximately 1:30 pm. Thirty-four year old Travis Allen Dale, of Osage Beach was arrested and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility. He is charged with the Class C Felony of Domestic Assault 2nd Degree and is being held without bond. Dale will appear before the Camden County Court on May 10th.
