UPDATE: Homicide Victim Identified

On Thursday, May 5th, the Camden County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identity of the body found on the Macks Creek vacation property on April 25th is that of the missing caretaker, Gregory B Webb. Due to the advanced state of decomposition the body was in when discovered, the medical examiner used dental records from Webb to compare to the body.

 

Camden County detectives and the Lake Area Major Case Squad are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Webb’s death.

 

Detectives are also looking for several missing items taken from the crime scene at the time of the homicide. A mid-eighties John Deere Model 400 lawn tractor and a black 4’x8’ Carry-On Trailer with one fender similar in appearance to the attached images are missing from the property. Several tools, sporting goods and electronic devices are also missing.
