Drug Arrest

02/08/2017

On 2/7/2017 at approximately 8:16 pm, a Deputy from the Camden County Sheriff's Office made a traffic stop on a 1997 Ford Ranger pick up that was displaying an expired dealer tag.  The stop was made on Duckhead Road in Lake Ozark, Mo.  While speaking with the driver, a 34 year old w/m from Camdenton, about his suspended license, a strong odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle.

A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed that it contained suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, over 63 hits of LSD, and paraphernalia used in the distribution of controlled substances.

The passenger, a w/m age 27, of Marlboro, Maryland was also taken into custody.  Both the driver and passenger are being held at the Camden County Jail pending formal charges.
