May 1, 2017 – On 4/30/2017 at approximately 7:00 am, Deputies, Fire Department and Ambulance personnel were called to a motel unit at Camden on the Lake, Lake Ozark, Mo., reference a 19-year-old male who was unresponsive.  The victim, Kamil Jackowski, originally from Arlington Heights, Illinois, and a student at the University of Iowa, was found unresponsive in his motel room.    CPR was initiated on Jackowski at the scene.  Jackowski was transported to Lake Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy is scheduled in Springfield, Mo. today.  No further information is available at this time, but will be released when possible.
