On January 26, 2012 Camden County Authorities responded to a report of students at the Stoutland School possessing a controlled substance.

During the course of the investigation it was revealed that the controlled substances were non scheduled drugs. Investigation revealed that one student was intoxicated by alcohol and several others had consumed pills.

The investigation is ongoing and an arrest is pending.
