James Clinton Weidner

On 5/6/2017 at approximately 3:16 am, CCSO Deputies responded to a residence located on Access Road, Camdenton, Camden County, Mo., reference to a domestic assault.  When they arrived, they found the victim, a 45 year old female, attempting to get up from a prone position on the floor.  Mercy Ambulance personnel were contacted to respond to the scene.  Deputies noticed that there were several items throughout the house broken.  

The suspect, James Clinton Weidner, age 51, was discovered in a bedroom of the residence and was taken into custody.  The victim had been badly beaten and kicked about the body and sustained multiple facial and rib fractures, lacerations and contusions.  The victim was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital and then flown by helicopter to the University of Missouri. 

James Weidner is being held at the Camden County Detention Center on $500,000 bond.
