Our deputies, as well as officers from other agencies, take reference the theft of purses and wallets on a regular basis.  Many of these items are left unattended in shopping carts, stores, boats, vehicles, and of course, bars.

Not only are you having your cash stolen, but you are setting yourself up for identity theft.  Ladies having a person you don't know watch your purse is just asking for trouble.  There are other ways to carry your money, debit cards or credit cards, without carrying a purse or bulky wallet.
