On 8/16/2018 at approximately 5:00 pm, Camden County Communications received a call from Hickory County SO reference a stolen black 2012 Ford truck bearing Illinois registration.  

A CCSO Deputy located the truck traveling east into Camdenton on Hwy 54.  The Deputy attempted to stop the vehicle.  During the pursuit, the patrol vehicle became disabled in the area of Sunny Slope Circle and Rocky Ledge.  With the assistance of other Deputies the stolen vehicle was located at the end of Crystal Drive.

Residents in the area were able to provide surveillance footage of the suspect exiting the stolen vehicle.  The surveillance and a description of the suspect were shown to responding Law Enforcement personnel.  The suspect was located at approximately 6:18 pm by a Trooper from the Highway Patrol.

Patric N. McGuire, age 25 of Camdenton was taken into custody and charged with:

Count 1 - Class D Felony Tampering with a Motor Vehicle

Count 2 - Class E Felony Resisting Arrest by Fleeing

Count 3 - Class D Misdemeanor of Possession of Marijuana

Count 4 - Class D Misdemeanor of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Bond - $20,000 Surety
