Gravois Mills Man Charged with Drugs and Weapons Offenses
Camdenton, MO, 01-17-23 - Late Sunday evening, 01-15-23, Camden County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop in 11,000 block of North State Highway 5 in Sunrise Beach.
During the traffic stop deputies noticed the driver, 40 year old Mark C Wildhagen of Gravois Mills, appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. K9 Deputy Zed arrived on scene and alerted to the presence of a controlled substance in the vehicle. Wildhagen admitted to being in possession of a controlled substance. Deputies then searched the vehicle and found suspected methamphetamine. Deputies also located several firearms and approximately 740 rounds of various caliber ammunition in the vehicle.
Wildhagen was arrested and transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility. He is charged with the Class D Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and the Class E Felony of Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He is being held on a $50,000 surety bond.
A reminder that these charges are merely allegations of wrongdoing. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
