CCSO Junior Academy

Camdenton, MO - 05-11-23 - The Camden County Sheriff's Office would like to invite all Camden County students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades to apply to our weeklong Camden County Sheriff's Junior Police Academy.

 

The academy will take place on Monday July 24, 2023, through Friday July 28, 2023, and will include a mixture of full and half day activities. Students will be exposed to several different facets of law enforcement and other first responder activities including crime scene investigation, radio communications, defensive tactics and many other fun activities. 

 

The Junior Police Academy has room for 25-30 students between grades 6 and 8 to attend and students from all schools in Camden County are welcome to apply. Each student will need to have their application and a short essay detailing why they want to attend turned into the Camden County Sheriff's Office by June 26th. 

 

Applications are available under the Current Events section at www.camdencountymosheriff.org and are being sent to local School Resource Officers.  Any questions about this year's academy should be referred to Sergeant Richard Dziadosz at 573-346-2243.
