CCSO, LANEG, and MSHP Make Narcotics Arrests

Camdenton, MO - 08-11-23 -, This week deputies from the Camden County Sheriff's Office, along with troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Task Force Officers from the Lake Area Narcotics Group conducted multiple narcotics investigations.

On Wednesday, 08-09-23, the group conducted a traffic stop on a suspected drug trafficker in the Greenview area of Camden County.  During their investigation, the suspect provided false information to deputies, but was known to them as 30-year-old Adrienne C Edington of Camdenton.  Deputies arrested Edington on several outstanding warrants and seized fentanyl, methamphetamine, and assorted drug related paraphernalia used in the consumption and distribution of drugs.

Edington was transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and is being held on multiple no-bond warrants and is also charged with the Class B Felony of 2nd Degree Drug Trafficking.

On 08-10-23, the group conducted a residence check in Camdenton searching for 31-year-old Brittany N Shoemaker.  Shoemaker had an active no-bond warrant for failing to report for drug testing as a condition of her bond in a previous drug case.  Deputies located Shoemaker after confronting the homeowner (who is currently on felony probation) who allowed them into the house to search. During her arrest, deputies seized methamphetamine and assorted drug related paraphernalia used in the consumption of drugs.

Shoemaker was transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility and booked on her warrant.  She is being held without bond and pending charges in this arrest.

A reminder that these charges are merely allegations of wrongdoing. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
