Shooting Rod Condon Rd (Richland)

On Wednesday September 19, 2012 Camden County Authorities responded to the 100 Block of Rod Condon Road Richland, Missouri to a reported gunshot victim.

Upon arrival to the scene a 32 year old male subject was found to have a non- life threatening gunshot wound to the shin area of his leg. The 32 year old victim was attended to at the scene by Tri County Fire and Pulaski County Ambulance. The victim was transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.

The 32 year old male victim had gone to his ex-girlfriend’s home to retrieve his vehicle which had been at the residence for some time. Upon his arrival he was confronted by his ex-girlfriend’s son who attempted to scare him with a semi automatic handgun. The suspect fired a round in the direction of the victim’s vehicle striking the victim in the leg. The victim was able to get away from the scene and call for assistance. A handgun was seized at the scene by authorities and the 24 year male suspect was arrested without incident.

The 24 year old male suspect is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility pending formal charges.
