On October 19, 2012 at 4:00 PM a Camden County Deputy was contacted by a female subject who advised that she had been sexually assaulted earlier in the afternoon. The caller advised the assault took place at the intersection of Gunbarrel Ridge Drive and Cape Woods Drive in Linn Creek.

The female victim advised that she had met the male suspect via Craigslist, where she advertises her services as an escort. She made arrangements to meet the suspect in a business parking lot at which time he advised her to follow him. When they arrived at the intersection of Gunbarrel Ridge Dr and Cape Woods Dr, the female got into the rear seat of the suspect’s vehicle.  The suspect began assaulting the victim by forcibly choking and restraining her.  The victim was able to escape from the suspect when he was disturbed by another motorist driving down the roadway.

The male suspect is currently being held in the Camden County Adult Detention Facility pending formal charges.
