Three People Arrested in Connection with Stolen Vehicle

On Friday, July 24th, Camden County deputies responded to the Camelot Estates area of Camdenton on a reported stolen vehicle. Deputies met with the vehicle’s owner who described the suspect as a white female named Sherri Meeks and informed deputies she had abandoned the stolen vehicle on Bear Paw Road and got in another vehicle driven by a male subject identified as “Tank.” Deputies were able to locate the second vehicle, a blue Buick, at Horizons Condominiums and placed Sherri Meeks under arrest. Deputies then identified “Tank” as Brandon Tuley and after discovering he was driving on a revoked license informed him he was under arrest. Tuley pulled away from deputies and ran approximately twenty yards before being subdued and taken into custody. Another passenger in the blue Buick, Megan Vaughan, was arrested on a Greene County warrant.

Meeks, Vaughan and Tuley were transported to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility without further incident.

Sherri June Meeks, 46, of Camdenton was charged with the Class C Felony of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree. Meeks is being held on a $3000.00 cash bond.

Megan Katherine Vaughan, 21, of Springfield is being held on her Greene County warrant. Brandon Joshua Tuley, 30, of Camdenton and Linn Creek was charged with the Class C Felony of Possession of Controlled Substance, the Class A Misdemeanor of resisting Arrest, Class A Misdemeanor of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia and Class A Misdemeanor of Driving While Revoked/Suspended. Tuley is being held on a $5000.00 cash bond.
