Linn Creek Man Arrested and Charged for Sex Crimes

In January of 2015, deputies from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office took a report concerning allegations of child sexual abuse. Working with the Department of Social Services Children’s Division, Kids’ Harbor and representatives from the victim’s school, detectives from this department were able to identify the suspect as Andrew Wayne Lester, 26, of Linn Creek.

 

On the morning of August 5, 2015, Camden County detectives conducted an interview with Lester at the sheriff’s office. Following the interview Lester was arrested and booked into the Camden County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond for five counts of Sodomy 1st Degree with a Child Under the Age of 12.

 

Lester will appear before the Associate Court of Camden County on September 8, 2015.
