On 01/21/2015 at approximately 2:00 pm, deputies from this department responded to a tip of a possible stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Camelot Drive in Camdenton.   

Upon the deputies’ arrival, a male subject in the vicinity of the allegedly stolen vehicle fled on foot. Deputies gave chase and were able to take subject into custody at which point he was identified as 34 year old Max W Vance of Eugene, MO.

 

Vance was arrested on several outstanding warrants and transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the foot chase. One deputy also received minor injuries during the chase and was also treated at Lake Regional.

 

The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of Cole County and was released to deputies from the Cole County Sheriff’s Department. Other charges in addition to Vance’s outstanding warrants are pending as the investigation continues.
