UPDATE: Man Sought in Child Molestation Case Arrested

One day after Camden County Sheriff’s investigators asked for the public’s assistance in locating him, Duffy Dean Woodman turned himself in to the Republic Police Department. Woodman was wanted on several sex crime charges involving a juvenile victim. He turned himself in at approximately 2:00 pm on Saturday without incident. Woodman will be booked in at the Greene County jail and will be transferred into the custody of Camden County sheriff’s deputies as soon as possible.

Sheriff Franklin and the staff of the Camden County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone who helped put out the word concerning Woodman’s wanted status. The public’s help in putting out social media pressure and other law enforcement agencies’ efforts in attempting to locate him no doubt played a factor in Woodman turning himself in to authorities.
