A Busy Weekend for the Camden County Jail

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office was out in force this weekend along with the MSHP, the Osage Beach Police Department, the Camdenton Police Department, and other local law enforcement agencies. Corrections Officers and deputies at the Camden County Adult Detention Facility booked in twenty-five arrests over the weekend for a variety of charges including two felony DWI arrests.

Forty year old Omar Moreno-Ruiz, of Osage Beach, was arrested during a traffic stop early Friday, 02-19-16. Moreno-Ruiz was transported to the Camden County Jail where he was charged with the Class B Felony of DWI-Chronic Offender and given a $3000.00 cash bond. Moreno-Ruiz is being held without bond on an additional probation violation warrant.

Later that evening, twenty-two year old Bethany Rose Lauenstein, of Lake Ozark, was arrested during a traffic stop. Lauenstein was transported to the Camden County Jail where she was charged with the Class C Felony of DWI-Persistent Offender and the Class B Misdemeanor of Exceeding the Posted Speed Limit by 26 mph or more. Lauenstein posted a $1000.00 cash bond and will appear in court on March 22nd.
