Injury Accident Involving 14 Year Old Runner

On 7/10/2018 at approximately 7:52 am, the Camden County Sheriff's Office received several 911 calls involving a 14 year old male who had been struck by a vehicle.  The accident occurred in the 300 block of Four Seasons Drive, Lake Ozark, Mo.

 

The vehicle, a 2011 Ford Explorer, was being driven by Joyce Ohde age 67 from Lake Ozark.  The accident occurred when the 14 year old, who is a member of the School of the Osage Cross Country Team, ran into the path of the vehicle driven by Ohde.  The parents of the boy were on the scene when officers arrived.

 

The victim was transported by Staff for Life to the University of Missouri Medical Center in serious condition.
