On 7/15/2018 at approximately 11:20 pm, Deputies with the Camden County Sheriff's Office began the pursuit of a vehicle being driven by John Patrick Pawelczak, because of traffic violations.  The vehicle  eventually stopped when it sustained mechanical failure.  During the pursuit, Pawelczak threw a box from the vehicle which was later located and contained illegal drugs.  

Pawelczak was charged with multiple Class D Felony drug violations, Class E felony resisting by fleeing, and multiple driving violations.  Pawelczak's bond has been set at $250,000.00.

Pawelczak is also being held on a Parole Violation warrant.
