RAFTUP APP ASSISTS IN BOATING EMERGENCY, NEXT GENERATION 911 PLATFORM EXPANDING TO MORE COUNTIES & LAKES

LAKE OZARK, MO: AUGUST 10, 2018 -- On May 26, 2018, The RaftUp App’s emergency “Smart SOS” function was used by a boater experiencing a boat fire on the Gravois Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. The SOS alert was sent to the Morgan County 911, which had adopted RaftUp Technologies’ 911 platform called AdventureSafe almost 2 years ago. The alert from the user allowed Morgan County
dispatchers to determine which fire station to call onto the scene and where to direct responding units. All victims of the boat fire are uninjured.

Rick Bias, the Emergency Management Director of Morgan County 911, commented the following: “We were able to see which side of the lake the boat was closest to because one side of the lake has a different fire jurisdiction and the other side of the lake has a different one, of course. So, by seeing that location - having the GPS location - we know where to send the first responders to make sure they get to the right agency”. “I recommend that every 911 center have [AdventureSafe] to help them out. Any time that you can have help to find somebody that will take time away - because in the old days we had to keep asking questions, we had to honk horns and find them. This is a lot better to help them, to locate them”.

The AdventureSafe Platform continues to expand to counties across Arkansas and Missouri. RaftUp Technologies has hired a dedicated 911 Outreach Manager, Christy Wagner, to facilitate AdventureSafe’s
adoption by 911 dispatch centers. Wagner has over a decade in 911 dispatch and emergency response. Benton County, Missouri is the latest county to adopt the platform, which is currently being used in 8
counties in the Midwest.
