On 8/18/2018 at approximately 1:50 am, while patrolling in the area of Bittersweet Road and Horseshoe Bend Parkway, a Camden County Deputy witnessed a green golf cart being driven on Horseshoe Bend Parkway.  When the Deputy activated his emergency lights, the driver struck a curb and he and the occupants fled into the woods.

The owner of the golf cart was located.  Homeowners in the surrounding area are providing surveillance footage of the theft. From the footage, it appears that four persons are involved.
