Halloween Safety - X-Ray Candy and Treats

A pumpkin head holding candy.

Free of charge, as a public service, Sheriff Tony Helms will be leaving the front doors of the Camden County Justice Center (court house) open from 5 pm to 9 pm on October 31st, so that children's candy and other treat items can be x-ray'd before consumption.

Parents should thoroughly check all candy.  If the wrappers appear to be damaged or tampered with in any way, throw away.

If you have any questions, contact Lt. Arlyne Page, 573-346-2243.
